Steppies Privacy Policy

Steppies is built to be private by design. We do not collect your personal information, require user accounts, display advertisements, use third-party analytics, or track you across apps or websites. Your health and activity data stays on your device. Steppies does not operate servers that receive, collect, or store your HealthKit or Core Motion data.

Information the App Accesses

With your permission, Steppies may access:

Health and fitness data you choose to make available through Apple Health.
Activity data available through Apple's Core Motion framework.

This information is used only to display your activity, history, widgets, and Apple Watch companion app. Steppies reads Health data only and does not write data to Apple Health.

What We Collect

Nothing. We do not collect, transmit, receive, store, sell, rent, or share your personal information or health and activity data.

Data Storage

Your health and activity data remains on your device and within Apple's Health app. App preferences may be stored locally on your device as necessary for Steppies to function. Widgets and the Apple Watch app access data locally on your devices. No activity data is transmitted to us.

HealthKit

HealthKit data is used solely to provide Steppies' functionality. We do not use HealthKit data for advertising, marketing, profiling, analytics, or data mining, and we never share it with advertisers, analytics providers, data brokers, or other third parties.

Payments

Steppies is currently free and does not contain in-app purchases or subscriptions. If paid features are introduced in a future version, payments will be processed by Apple, and we will never receive or store your payment card information.

Your Choices

You may grant or revoke Apple Health and Motion & Fitness permissions at any time through your device settings. Deleting Steppies removes its locally stored app data. Health data stored by Apple remains subject to your Apple Health settings.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The Last updated date reflects the current version.
